Summer in Keystone, Colorado
It’s hard to beat mountain biking in the Rocky Mountains. The days are longer, the weather is warm (but still probably a lot cooler than where ever you’re reading this from!) and there are endless opportunities for outdoor activities! By far our most favorite of which is mountain biking. Mountain biking in Keystone, Colorado is unlike anywhere else. The variety of terrain available all within the Keystone valley is second to none. Winding trails for beginners that meander through the woods, long 3000′ foot climbs to epic descents for the seasoned mountain biker and our favorite downhill mountain biking at the Keystone Bike Park!
Downhill mountain biking at the Keystone Bike Park takes the hard, grueling part out of the ride, the climb up. Instead grab a downhill bike at Norski Sports, pedal-less than 2 minutes over to the ticket window, and grab a day pass for unlimited laps down the mountain. Once at the top of the mountain there are green, blue, black, and double black trails available to ride, just like skiing and snowboarding in the winter.
All of our rental packages include; helmets, protective gear, and instructions on how to use the bikes as well as some trail suggestions. We love sharing our passion for mountain biking with our customers and making sure they have as much fun on the mountain as we do!

Bike Park Upgrades and Improvements
The Keystone Bike Park Crew has been working on a few new projects this season. The first of which opened for the closing weekend last year and is a new 3 turn wallride that snakes it’s way down the River Run trail. The wall rides are a major improvement that makes the River Run trail a must ride for almost any rider!
Other sections of trail that have received some love for the 2018 season are Cowboy, Motorhead, High-Speed Dirt, Sanitarium, and everyone’s favorite trail at the Keystone Bike Park, Paid in Full. Cowboy up saw a good clean up and rebuilt landing on the log drop. While the big news is Paid in Full received a facelift between the upper section and the section just below the drop zone. The berms are way bigger, the jumps wider and overall the trail is ripping, everyone has been raving about how fun it rides!
