Great snow conditions at Keystone Ski Resort and Colorado!
Well the winter of 2014 is off to a great start and we have the best snow conditions that we have had in years. Keystone Ski Resort has received over 8 feet of snow since the 1st of January, and the skiing is spectacular. Throughout the month of February Keystone has done their Savor the Slopes event, with different wine, spirit and food tastings each day throughout the month. It has been a great event to try some local specialties and pairings.
The month of March has some great events coming up to keep you busy throughout the spring. Starting the first weekend of March is Betty Fest, a ladies specific ski improvment workshop. If you a lady looking to improve your skills, this is the workshop for you.
Next up is the Third Annual Winter Bluegrass Festival on March 7th and 8th. Friday nights acts are Steel Pennies and The Blue Canyon Boys with Saturday night featuring The Pine Beetles and Haunted Windchimes. For the next weekend of March 14th and 15th, Keystone will be hosting 2 concerts, on the 14th The Travelin’ McCourys featuring Bill Nershi of the String Cheese Incident with special guest Pert Near Sandstone. On the 15th,The Motet with special guest Euforquestra at the Warren Station will be playing. This is one of our favorite events of the year and one that we are really looking forward to.
