What’s new in Keystone, Colorado

Winter is officially here in Keystone, Colorado! Keystone Resort kicked off the 2018/2019 ski and snowboard season EARLY for the first time in nearly a decade. Chairlifts began turning in Keystone on Wednesday, November 7th, two days ahead of the scheduled opening day. In addition to Keystone, Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin are also open for the winter season. Vail, Beaver Creek, and Copper Mountain all open this week as well. Just in time for some Thanksgiving skiing and Snowboarding!

The forecast for the next two weeks has snow on the horizon and the temperature in the high country looks nice and cold, perfect for the snow-makers. That is perfect news because Night Skiing begins the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We’re open late any night Keystone has night skiing, typically Wednesday – Sunday. We are open until 9 pm on these evenings. Until then we are up every day 8 am – 5 pm.
